In this second episode of Imtidad English, we will be reviewing the new issue of <\/span><\/span>Banipal magazine <\/span><\/span><\/a>No 27 Autumn\/winter 2006, then we will be presenting Libyan storyteller <\/span><\/span>Ahmed Youssef Aghila<\/span><\/b><\/em>, by reading two of his short stories translated from Arabic, and there will be some paintings by artist <\/span><\/span>Mohammed Binlamen.<\/a><\/span><\/b><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

I am proud also to present Arabic musical pieces performed and organized by Arab American musician <\/span><\/span>Sami Abu Shumays<\/a>, to whom I extend my thanks for giving me permission to reproduce his music on Imtidad, Sami hosts and produces a Podcast called <\/span><\/span>personal performances<\/a>, in which presents Arabic music and performers, and focuses on the different aspects and influences in classical and modern Arabic music.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
